So you’re probably wondering...why a British Fish & Chip Shop here in Bennington, Vermont? Well, the owners, Kevin & Sarah Wright, are English and fish & chips are in their blood!!!
Kevin is originally from Stoke-on-Trent, England and moved to the USA in 1998. He left his entire family to pursue “the American dream”.
Sarah is originally from Sedgley, England but moved to the USA with her parents and brother when she was only four years old.
Kevin and Sarah met in December 1997 and were married in April 2001.
It wasn’t until September 2007 that they decided to buy a downtown building where both locals and visitors alike could enjoy authentic British fish & chips.

So on July 5, 2008 Lil’ Britain was opened for business serving fresh seafood and British specialties.
Since then they have met and made friends with many people without whom their business would not be possible. Thanks for your continued support! |
